Hierdie tipe kogellagers het twee renbane in die binneste en 'n gemeenskaplike sferiese renbaan in die buitenste ring. Dit besit 'n inherente self-belyningseienskap. Wat die hoekafwyking toelaat binne die omvang van 1,5° tot 3°, is besonders vir toepassings in waar wanbelyning wat ontstaan het as gevolg van foute in montering of asafbuiging.
Hierdie tipe laers word hoofsaaklik gebruik om radiale vragte te dra. Terselfdertyd kan dit ook 'n sekere hoeveelheid aksiale ladings dra. Alhoewel die laaivermoë van hierdie tipe laers laag is, word dit aan hoëspoedrotasie onderwerp.
Laers van tipe 1000k met tapse boring (1:12) en met 'n adapter huls vir definitiewe posisie bevestiging op die gladde as word hoofsaaklik gebruik vir die as sonder skouer. Dui tipe laers is gerieflik as jy monteer en afklim. Buitendien kan 'n mens die radiale interne speling.
